Journey

By car:

You leave the A7 via Exit Goettingen and go straight ahead:
Kasseler Landstraße - Groner Landstraße - Groner-Tor-Straße towards town centre. In the parking garage Groner-Tor-Straße you can park your car. Now you go on foot through the Papendiek. Soon you will see the so-called Lichtenberghof right-hand. Go in there and use the main entrance.

 

By train:

You leave the station towards town centre. You pass the station forecourt towards bus terminal where you will use the pedestrian crossing with traffic light to get on the opposite side of the Berliner Straße. Go straight ahead, along the Goethe-Allee. Directly at the Leine canal at the corner Goethe-Allee/Papendiek you will have to turn right into the Papendiek. After a few metres you will see the so-called Lichtenberghof. Go in there and use the main entrance.  

 

For disabled persons:

By car: You leave the A7 via Exit Goettingen and go straight ahead towards town centre using the Kasseler Landstraße. After the railway underpass turn left into the Berliner Straße, then turn right into the Goethe-Allee. Go straight ahead up to the Papendiek. Diagonally opposite to the historic building of the SUB, at the corner house with gastronomy (Goethe-Allee 8), are some car parks especially for disabled persons. After parking turn right to the Papendiek. After a few metres you will find the so-called Lichtenberghof. There, at the left side is a barrier-free entrance and a lift that brings you to the foyer.

By train: You leave the station towards town centre.
