Services of the GDZ

The activities of the GDZ cover the whole historic and modern stocks from different faculties and departments. They range from mass digitizing to high-quality colour digitizing. Based on international standards more than 5 million pages were digitized since 1997 and more than 4 milllion pages are available online.
 

• As a  partner of service the GDZ produces digitized data for internal clients as well as for external clients (scholarly projects, libraries, publishing companies). 
  
• As a  competence centre the GDZ gives advice to scholarly facilities concerning digitizing projects.
  
• As a research establishment the GDZ is developing own projects in cooperation with special branches of science.
